Obedience








HIS CALL: CREATE THE PLATFORM

MATTHEW 28: 18
"Jesus came and told his disciples,"I have been given all authority in heaven and on earth. Therefore, go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit. Teach these disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age."(NLT)



MY RESPONSE: START THIS BLOG 

JOHN 14:21

"Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal myself to each of them." (NLT)

and

LUKE 8:21

Jesus replied, "My mother and my brothers are all those who hear God's word and obey it."

OBEDIENCE: What is God instructing you to do (or not do) today? Are you listening to Him (or the influence of OTHER) with a corrective spirit? Will you listen and obey? How? If not now, when?

-take a break from social media
-forgive your husband
-turn OFF the TV
-put down the 3rd cookie
-write that encouraging e-mail to your friend
-pick up the phone and call your sister
-write the book
-pray for your colleague
-walk away from cleaning the kitchen and prioritize playing outside with your children today
-wake up before your baby does and open His WORD

PRAYER Father God, I praise your name and thank-you for caring about me by speaking your truth into my life. I accept your word of instruction in ________(this area)______ today, Lord. Now, give me the desire and the power to do what pleases you (Phil 2:13).
