Be Encouraged::: Train Up Your Child

Dear MamaBear re: discipline and your child

YOU were commissioned by THE KING OF KINGS to be the mother
of your individual child(ren).

To gift ______ the biblical worldview.
in order to equip them that they might be able to filter all of their thoughts through the truth
gifted by the scriptural lens. prescribed directly to sin-sick humanity by The Great Physician himself.
The remedy::: Jesus Christ.

to teach _____ wisdom; to impress upon _____ the FEAR OF THE LORD. (Prov. 9:10)

today.

EMINEM ANTHEM CRY:::
""You only get one shot! Do not miss your chance. This opportunity comes once in a lifetime
seize everything
capture it"" (or just let it slip?)

Revelation 3:19 NIV God says "Those whom I love I rebuke and discipline."

if you've been lax in the area of disciplining your child::: confession is a gift &&& to "SWERVE" here is simply one prayer away. it is NEVER to late to cast your eyes upon Christ and in doing so to transfer your dependence from self onto HIM.

The LORD provides where He leads!! (Phil. 4:19)

A beloved fellow littles-disciple-maker (read: christian-mom-friend. matthew 28) once encouraged me with the following. I pass it forward in the hopes of lifting up another tired, frustrated, discouraged mama. The mama in the thick of walking out the (exhausting. patience sucking. unclear pathway.) correction of her child process.

"You are not alone.
We are in the throes of parenting and discipline together.
This whole parenting journey has led me to recognize the sin in my own heart probably more than my children's. It has been awakening to me.

You are planting those seeds of putting love and discipline into your child's heart
and that is what you are called to do as a mama
and
only God can change their hearts.

So stand up in confidence that you are following God's calling and doing the best of your ability. And thank the Lord that He is forgiving to us when we lose our stuff. That we can receive forgiveness as Mamas when we yell and speak out of anger.

Praying over you and your child's heart..to find peace together.
for patience and wisdom
to discipline and correct but not to punish out of our frustration or anger

You are loved
and you're doing such a good job."

Keep going!! Grab a mom friend. God is with you in this; stay in His word. Come to Him:::rest. remain. abide. Pray without ceasing. With thanksgiving!

Proverbs 13: 24 NLT Those who spare the rod of discipline hate their children. Those who love their children care enough to discipline them.

Deut. 6:4-9

Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God, the Lord is one.[a] Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts.Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates.

ONE THING YOU CAN DO RIGHT NOW, THIS MINUTE: Pray for your child.

IF YOU ARE MARRIED: Grab your partner, walk in UNITY- here.

re: #3) confession: I am strangely encouraged by the fact that Mary and Joseph themselves were imperfect parents. As evidenced by the fact that they lost Jesus, age 12.

WHERE IMPERFECTION EXISTS, BEAUTY ABOUNDS. BEAUTY FROM ASHES, baby!! YES He can!

Luke 2:46 "After three days they found him in the temple courts, sitting among the teachers, listening to them and asking them questions."

Let us alllllll be found in the HOUSE OF THE LORD, SITTING AT THE FEET OF JESUS AND ASKING HIM for
-wisdom
-patience
-consistency
-gentleness
-strength & endurance
+++ as we seek to remain in the will of God.
AMEN
