Praise the Lord!! I am who He says I am.
2 Tim. 3:16 NLT
All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.

I cry a lot lately. Not out of sadness generally, although sometimes. Most often I leak tears from the place of emotional (and physical) weariness.
Last night I cried as I diced sweet potatoes, today I cried as I swept dried beans off the kitchen floor.
I do not enjoy disciplining my children (constant watch, take off/put on correction, punishment selection)
and yet...out of love for God and for my children, I am a parent who disciplines...and it exhausts me into a puddle of decision fatigue, patience tried tears- often.
and that's okay
"Why do I have to be the responsible grown up who worries?! Why can't I be the cute, carefree, Irish guy who sings all time time?" lalala!

Love God, love people.
Simple calling, right? Simple does not equal easy, ya'll!
WHO TOLD YOU it (read: the christian walk) would be easy?? Jn. 16:33
go and bear fruit
love one another
I THANK THE GOOD LORD THAT HIS
GRACE HAS GIVEN ME THE TRUTH OF KNOWING THAT:
I am a beloved child of the King of Kings.
I am loved unconditionally. I cannot outrun God's love for me.
I am succeeding at life when I remain walking in the will of the Lord,
by total (prayerful) dependance upon Him.
My calling is to love God, love people.
Choosing each day to live my life FOR HIS GLORY fills me with purpose & total satisfaction.
I identify as a beloved daughter of God.
"Our Father...who art in heaven"
Abba. It's our Daddy up there, yo! And HE (unlike me) IS INDEED A PERFECT PARENT.
I am thankful.grateful.blessed to identify with my God-given gender/species/+++
not everyone walks in such freedom as this- freedom which I am prone to take for granted, every day.

Let us be Sisters who agree to LET HIS COUNSEL reign, here.
Here in the festering-wound filled arena of identity theft.
Let us contend for the faith [the objective body of Christian doctrine]
as we aim
to speak truth, in love- by the power of the Holy Spirit, in His perfect timing.
FOR HIS GLORY
Daniel 4:27 ESV let my counsel be acceptable to you: break off your sins by practicing righteousness, and your iniquities by showing mercy to the oppressed...”
Micah 6:8 ESV "He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but to do justice, and to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God?"

truth of what God says in His word,

click here for Amazon link In this moment I feel as if I am a burnt, soggy bagel. AND I am thanking the Giver of my feelings that they do not define me. My feelings don't even begin to scratch the surface of who I am;
I am who God says I am.
A bagel in the toaster, forgotten and alone.
Tossed into the sink, again forgotten- for a time.
Kept company by messy, stinky dishes.
Dishes in perpetual need of someone to tend to them.
A bagel doused by water, on accident.
Finally, removed upon discovery and tossed into the trash.
A bagel in the trash, with a Jesus-shaped hole in my heart,
supernaturally satisfied there- by Christ; never alone in the stink of life.
Praise the Lord!! I am who He says I am.
"Do not depend upon feelings. The promise of God's word, not our feelings, is our authority. The Christian lives by faith in the trustworthiness of God Himself and His Word.

This train diagram illustrates the relationship among fact (God and His Word), faith (our trust in God and His Word), and feelings (the result of our faith and obedience). (John 14:21)
The train will run with or without the caboose. However, it would be futile to attempt to pull the train by the caboose. In the same way, we do not depend upon feelings or emotions, but we place our faith (trust) in the trustworthiness of God and the promise of His Word."
