Timna:

"Part of my excitement in spring is always seeing the rebirth of nature and flowers and trees they each symbolize hope to me they each symbolize that rebirth that God has for each of us around Easter."

"Your picture of God needs to be based on God’s word."

"He knows we’re not perfect and it does bring great joy to the Easter season to focus on that rich character of God and how He is so immense and just an awesome God that cares so much about us."

"And really learn to say:  "God, your will be done, your plan for my life be done. It's an ongoing process trying to earn how to incorporate that in every day because/you think/the culture says" oh be strong, you can do whatever you want. They don’t really lead you to follow God and say "no, whatever God wants." It’s a whole different outlook."

"I really turned the corner when I was able to say: "God,100 percent of me, whatever You want. And if I’m here 2 months or 2 years or 20 years, the joy is walking with You every day."

"He keeps teaching me and refining me and burnishing off the bone spurs and anything else that shouldn’t be there."

rebirth: When you come <<by God’s grace>> to faith

"Somehow when you’re reborn you have this eye opening experience where what you thought was reality isn’t reality and makes me think about when a baby in the womb that’s wondering what’s on the other side … you don’t really know what’s out there. you don’t have that understanding and when the Holy Spirit does point you in the right direction and you are reborn and you do learn and you see all the hope and all the joy it’s pretty exciting!"

"My parents just kept pointing me back to God and the Bible"

"The blessing of being able to walk through this life with God is one that I just am so grateful for because I cannot imagine not having somebody to walk through this life and all the difficult things in life and not having that hope..it just changes your whole viewpoint."

"That came alongside me when they saw that I needed some encouragement. I don’t have one particular shining beacon in my life- I have a string of lights. It’s been just a pleasure. And, there are many, many people that have been a good influence for me and that have been really helpful."

re: my mother, Miriam: "She always leans into God and just makes the best of every situation and prays her way through life. It has been a privilege to watch her do that and always to see her encouraging everybody she comes across."

"Perhaps start with a podcast or start with a local christian church looking for supportive christian sister to stimulate a hunger and prayer. I think you have to ask God and just sit and talk with Him as a friend."

"Looking back you know His hand was working and you know that He lined things up better than you could ever imagine on your own or whatever answer to prayer you had in mind was far eclipsed by God."

"I am a very Satisfied Sister when I hold God’s hand and I walk through every day. Everything I need; I’m so satisfied and I’m so blessed."

Kristina: 

"Before you're born you only experience a very limited and closed process of life and so I think the process of being born and really experiencing life to the full in the Lord is very, mindblowingly different."

"That opening of your eyes and that first full breath of air and {{seeing what creation is meant to be seen as and experienced as and defined as true}}

That whole mind opening experience…it washes away anything we thought was life before that."

"Being radically honest with ourselves and honest with God.

To talk fully with Him and to be known. 

Is just a gift a privilege that we’re given."

Heather:

"Stay in the word and don’t do it alone."

"Lord, I would ask that the Sisters would know that the battle is already won. Jesus said on the cross that “it is finished” and with a resounding yes and amen help us to step into our identities as Your Daughters. Daughters of The Most High God. And, to rest in this truth and hope as we enter the Easter season. Amen, LORD."
