Shame & Miscarriage: Jesus, what are your words for me in this??

Hello Dear Sister, GOD PROVIDES WHERE HE LEADS. yes?? yes. In His provision, I was led to listening to a podcast episode on shame- just one week prior to a deeply personal shame spiral. While shame is a very familiar-to-me negative emotion, this particular incident was brought about through experiencing a miscarriage at 10 weeks gestation. (Warning: Sister, if you are not in an emotionally ready place to hear about this topic today, please click x and consider returning at a later date. You are seen & heard by a GOOD and LOVING God. Feel free to send a message & connect. We would be honored to hear your story, to pray with & for you and your family.) The following thoughts or definitions surrounding guilt/shame have been adapted from the following source: The Journeywomen Podcast (click here for episode website) Shame definition: "Shame is the painful emotion that arises from an awareness that one has fallen short of some standard, ideal, or goal." by TE-...
The Missing Piece

I believe that each one of us were born with Jesus-shaped-holes in our hearts. Humans are wired for connection:::made for deep personal relationship with our Creator God. In any and all unfinished. incomplete. works-in-progress. stories-yet-unfolding. read:: living human beings Jesus Christ himself is the answer/the completion/the consummation (perfection & fulfillment) of all. I get all huffy when I see my daughter (6) in the Enemy's cross hairs. then, I (aspire to) pray/surrender/trust & depend upon God. and write/share/point someone to Jesus. ]] It is all too true that "The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy ; Praise The Lord!! John 10:10 isn't complete without::: " I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full." INDEED, sis. CHRIST~MESSIAH~JESUS has come that they/we/you & me may have life & have it to the full . Hallelulah! Consider 1)the season that we have entered this week, Christmas. Christmas- where it is literally ALL about Jesus- the celebration of His birth. His birth which took place in order that He might die to save us from our sin condition. It truly is the most wonderful time of the year. WONDER [[definition "that emotion which is excited by......
I feel like a burnt, soggy bagel
Praise the Lord!! I am who He says I am. 2 Tim. 3:16 NLT All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right. 🚒🚒🚒Fact [engine] :::Faith:::Feelings [caboose] 🚒🚒🚒 I cry a lot lately. Not out of sadness generally, although sometimes. Most often I leak tears from the place of emotional (and physical) weariness. Last night I cried as I diced sweet potatoes, today I cried as I swept dried beans off the kitchen floor. I do not enjoy disciplining my children (constant watch, take off/put on correction, punishment selection) and yet...out of love for God and for my children, I am a parent who disciplines...and it exhausts me into a puddle of decision fatigue, patience tried tears- often. and that's okay "Why do I have to be the responsible grown up who worries?! Why can't I be the cute, carefree, Irish guy who sings all time time...
